“All eyes on Berlin” – with the Ambassadors’Club, since 2002
In 2002, five cosmopolitan women of Israeli, Danish, Iranian, German and French origin, who lived in Berlin, had the idea of setting up a platform for exchange in the interests of international understanding for ambassadors from all over the world accredited in Germany – outside the constraints of diplomatic protocol.
Today, 150 ambassadors are members – a success story.
Under the patronage of state minister of media and culture Prof. Dr. Monika Grütters MdB, the members meet up regularly for talks with high-ranking German and European representatives from politics, the economy, sport and culture.
Apart from the official events, we also offer our members the opportunity to combine pleasure with business at concerts, gala evenings, sporting and charity events.
One particular highlight is our Golf Cup, held each year, at which the Club is led by the honorary committee with its lady president Mania Feilcke-Dierck.
There are now at least as many ambassadors on the committee as local members.
