In April, Dr.h.c. Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club, was able to welcome a special guest at the monthly Jour Fixe. After more than two years of waiting and schedule arrangement, President of the German Federal Bank, Dr. Jens Weidmann appeared as guest speaker of the Ambassadors Club. This special Jour Fixe took place in the Sofitel Kurfürstendamm, where the new director, Stefan Winistörfer, welcomed more than 40 excellences from all over the world in the restaurant “Le Faubourg”.
The speech of the Federal Bank President inspired the ambassadors to a stimulating discussion. Many questions from the highest diplomatic representatives of Pakistan, Egypt, Iran, Canada, Croatia and Japan reflected the enthusiasm of the guests for this event.
