On 29 January 2019, the President of the Ambassadors Club, Dr.h.c. Mania Feilcke- Dierck, invited to the first Jour Fixe of the year. This time the Excellencies from all over the world met at the Maritim Hotel, Stauffenbergstraße where guest speaker Dr. Gerd Müller, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, spoke on the subject of “Shaping globalisation fairly!”.
More than 60 ambassadors from all over the world accepted the invitation. The entertaining lecture was followed by a lively discussion during which the Minister received much support for his speech from the Excellencies.
Minister Müller praised the work of the Ambassadors Club under the leadership of its president Feilcke-Dierck and the club’s contribution towards international understanding through regular events like this.
