Ambassadors Club collects for syrian refugee children

On the occasion of the 4th „Angel Tree“ event, the Ambassadors Club invited on December 9th to its yearly charity event at the Regent Hotel in Berlin.

Under the patronage of Germanys First Lady Daniela Schadt ambassadors from all over the world, as well as distinguished guests from politics, economy and society laid nicely wrapped gifts under the solemnly decorated christmas tree in the Salon Gontard of the Hotel at the famous square Gendarmenmarkt. This year it was chosen that the presents will go to syrian children in the refugee camp Zaatari in Northern Jordan.

The First Lady Daniela Schadt portrayed in her very touchy speech her visit at the refugee camp, which she visited at the beginning of this year. She praised the charity event of the Ambassadors Club and called for all in attendance to engage also after christmas for people and especially children in need.

The President of the Amabassadors Club, Mania Feilcke-Dierck was happy to welcome again about 120 invited guests and officially handed the presents together with First Lady Daniela Schadt over to the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, H.E. Dr. Mazen Tal. Subsequent, the attendees sang together german and english christmas carols accompanied by the pianist Todd Fletcher.
