On Thursday, March 16, 2023, Dr. h.c. Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Ambassadors Club invited to a lunch with Friedrich Merz MP at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. More than 50 ambassadors from all parts of the world accepted the invitation to the widely cordoned-off hotel, where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was a guest at the same time.
The federal chairman of the CDU and chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag spoke in the packed hall on the topic of “Germany and the EU in a new geopolitical reality.”
The 20-minute impulse was followed by a lively discussion with the Excellencies before a joint lunch was served.
