On 27 September 2023, the President of the Bundestag, Bärbel Bas MP, visited the Ambassadors Club. She thus followed the invitation of Dr. h.c. Mania Feilcke-Dierck, President of the Club. More than 40 ambassadors also accepted this invitation to a Jour Fixe with the prominent guest speaker at the Hotel Waldorf Astoria Berlin.
The President of the Bundestag spoke to the excellencies from all over the world on the topic of “Women in Politics and Diplomacy”. The topic aroused great interest and more than a dozen ambassadors took part in the lively discussion.
